Shabbat Dinners

Join fellow Jewish students and faculty for a home-cooked dinner in a warm atmosphere. Meet new faces, discuss, sing, eat and enjoy!

Shabbat dinners are open to all; just come as you are.

We request that you RSVP so that we know how many to prepare for.  (Vegetarian and gluten free diets are happily accommodated; please let us know when you sign up.)

Social Events

We host a myriad of opportunities to meet and connect with other Jewish students and community members. Join us for BBQ’s, Trips, Challah Baking, Game Nights, and plenty more!

Holiday Celebrations

We’re honored to help Jewish students celebrate the holidays while being away from home.
Whether it’s the High Holidays, Chanukah, Purim or Passover, we offer pre-holiday events as well as ceremonies and festivities on the actual calendar dates.

Learning Opportunities

Students are welcome to join weekly study sessions at Chabad, including the highly acclaimed Sinai Scholars Course offered each semester.  You can choose to study the topic of your choice one-on-one with the Rabbi or Rebbetzin.   Regardless of your previous Jewish education, you are sure to learn something new while at Chabad!

Trips!

We offer many highly-subsidized trip opportunities for students, including both national and internationaldestinations!

Birthright Israel - Sign up with us for a FREE trip to Israel during Winter Break or Summer Break

Living Links - Join a week-long journey through Poland and the Concentration Camps during Winter Break or Spring Break

Pegisha - Spend a weekend in NYC together hundreds of Jewish college students from around the world (November)

Regional Shabbatons - Take a trip with us to spend Shabbat with college students from all over Texas (Spring Semester)

Additional trip opportunities are announced throughout the year!

Mezuzah Bank

Do you need a Mezuzah for your dorm room or apt? We have one for you!
We will deliver and install a Kosher Mezuzah for your front door to provide spiritual protection and proclaim your Jewish pride.

What is a Kosher Mezuzah? A Mezuzah is not the outside cover, rather it's the scroll with the two paragraphs of Shema specially written, on parchment, by an expert scribe. A Mezuzah on the door symbolizes our connection to G‑d in all areas of our life. A Mezuzah is also a source of
G‑d's protection while at home or away.

Chicken Soup Deliveries

Feeling down or under the weather?  Chabad volunteers will gladly deliver piping hot, Kosher Chicken Soup to lift you up!  Parents can request soup delivery for their students as well.
